Nutrition for the Life of your Pet

Nearly a decade ago, we became proud owners to two spirited Shiba Inus. From the beginning, we made a conscious decision: we weren’t going to feed them the same mass-produced, ingredient-compromised food lining big-box shelves. We wanted real food, clear sourcing, and nutrition that made sense.

So we did what most people don’t have the time or support to do, we made it ourselves.

That choice opened our eyes to how confusing, misleading, and frankly broken the pet food world can be. Labels sounded good, marketing was loud, but true quality and transparency were hard to find. That realization is what eventually led us to Pet Wants.

Very simply, you and your pets inspire us to innovate. Pet Wants was founded on the belief that mainstream pet food does not automatically equal proper nutrition or care. We exist to be a trusted resource for pet owners who want better, but don’t want to guess.

At Pet Wants Rockville, we make our own treats, supplements, and small-batch, gently cooked dry food, fresher than most store-bought options. We also create a skin and coat care line in-house, including Paw Wax and a natural Tick & Flea Repellent. And because convenience matters, we offer free, often same-day delivery.
